My name is Alexandru Tertisco and this is my personal web page. It's likely you have got here in search of certain information. Here is what you can find on this site:

The section «Personal», in the menu from the left side of the page, contains the information on events I participated and about places I have visited and also other related to me information. If you had not any relation to me or to the events and places mentioned in this section, visiting it will not bring you any advantage.

The second section - «Resources» - is dedicated to the documentation, different useful programs and other IT related resources.

The next section, named «Projects», contains the information about my personal projects - things I investigated in the past or I'm currently working on.

The section «Photo» is dedicated to my attempts in digital photography.

In the last section, I grouped under the name «Miscellaneous» data and information that didn't fit in any of the previous sections.

I started to work on a new project with the code name "Slipstick" (a calculating device also known as "Slide Rule") and added it to "projects" section. I also temporary added some intermediate results to the "Miscellaneous" section. The goal of the project is to develop a java script emulator of a slide rule (a.k.a. slipstick).

The documentation isn't ready yet but what is most important , the virtual slide rule is done and working.

Added to "projects" section a page template in "notebook" style I intend to use in publishing project documentation.

Added the Abacus project I been and I'm still working in the past weeks. It's about two JavaScript emulators of a Chinese (soan-pan) and Japanese (soroban) abacus. The emulators are ready, up and running. What remains is to put in order the documentation that is a very raw state right now.
